Join Warren Foster, a highly regarded knowledge holder of the Yuin Nation for a two hour guided cultural walk at Wallaga Lake. Warren is a strong leader in his community and serves as a mentor and advocate for Yuin culture, particularly for the youth in the area.
Walking on Country with Warren at Wallaga Lake is a mesmerizing experience that will immerse you in the rich history and traditions of the Yuin people. Learn about the significance of the region, including the stories of Gulaga, the "Mother Mountain" (Mount Dromedary) and her two sons, Baranguba (Montague Island) and Najanuga (Little Dromedary).
BUSH TUCKER
Learn about ancient sustainability practices and the importance of looking after the country. Discover the cultural burning techniques, totems, and the deep connection the Yuin people have with their land.
Warren is also a member of the Gulaga Dance group and has traveled the world as an ambassador for First Nations culture. His passion and expertise will make this tour a truly unforgettable experience.
