There are plenty more options to choose from including prawns, scallops and the best locally caught fish and chips with a secret ingredient, Mystery Bay Kelp, that makes the chips the best we have ever tasted. Located on the banks of the Wagonga Inlet this is the perfect spot to spend the afternoon with friends and family and enjoy the best local produce Narooma has to offer. SALT AT THE MARINA, NAROOMA
BUY ONE COFFEE AND GET ONE FREE
We get asked many times where we can go to get the best coffee in Narooma? Salt at the Marina uses the Guerilla Roasters locally roasted coffee and is located at the Narooma Marina overlooking the historic boat sheds and the Wagonga Inlet. A favourite with locals and visitors alike Salt is the perfect place to enjoy a good coffee and delicious brunch. Our favourite dish on the menu is the teriyaki chicken bowl or try their toasties. Why not build up an appetite and go for a SUP or kayak on the inlet before brunch. Take a handline with you and hire one of the fishing boats or if there is a group of you why not pick up a picnic from Salt and take out at BBQ Boat. The fishing boats and BBQ Boats can go right to the back on the inlet where all the oyster leases are and where the rainforest meets the sea. Book your SUP, Kayak and boat hire here.
NAROOMA GOLF CLUB - VOTED AS THE No. 1 PUBLIC COURSE IN NSW
$20 OFF SEAFOOD PLATTER IN THE RESTAURANT
10% OFF DRINKS AT THE BAR FOR ONE DAY,
10% DISCOUNT OFF SOCIAL GOLF FEES AND GOLF CART HIRE
Narooma Golf Course is rated as the number one golf course on the NSW South Coast by Golf NSW and in the top 50 courses in Australia. This spectacular 6000 m par 72 golf course is a must do while in Narooma. Choose from 6 holes or 18 holes. The first 6 holes follow the cliff edge overlooking Baranguba (Montague Island) and the Pacific Ocean. Its famous Hogans hole is a par 3 where you have to clear the ocean to get to the green. Between May and October look out for whales breaching or seals frolicking in the waves below. The back 10 holes follow beautiful timber forests with plenty of stunning water features of tidal lakes before joining back up to the club with views over the Pacific Ocean. Even if you are a non-golfer we recommend joining your golfer friends just for the walk with views that most visitors to the region never see. This is a great activity for the whole family to enjoy, or gather a group of friends/colleagues and have your own tournament (ask us for more details). Finish at the 19th hole at Narooma Golf Club which has spectacular views over the course and out to sea including a wooden deck to enjoy an after-golf sundowner. This deck is one of Narooma’s best kept secrets.
